Modal (the default) means the user will not be able to interact with the rest of the application while the UserForm is open. The Show method takes an optional argument, a member of the FormShowConstants enum (vbModal or vbModeless), to specify the UserForm's modality. If the Show method is called on a UserForm that is not loaded in memory, it will be loaded automatically and the Initialize event of the UserForm will be triggered. To show a UserForm use the Show method of the UserForm object. To load a UserForm into memory use the Load statement. Loading the UserForm into memory triggers the UserForm's Initialize event procedure. When launching or closing a UserForm, there is a difference between loading the UserForm into memory and showing the UserForm to the user, and between hiding a UserForm and unloading it from memory. To create a UserForm right-click in the VBA Project Explorer and select insert UserForm or import the UserForm from a file. A UserForm is a custom window that can contain various types of controls which can be used to provide an intuitive graphical interface to users.
